Overnight Lake tour with Carol Caver

If you have more time, an overnight trip is the best way to really experience Chiew Larn Lake both day and night, Daytime activities include hiking through virgin jungle, bamboo rafting, exploring a cave, kayaking, swimming and relaxing amidst the amazing scenery in the afternoon and dawn hours. Enjoy a delicious lunch, including fresh fish from the lake. After dark, enjoy a delicious dinner in a peaceful atmosphere and spend a night under the stars in a basic floating bungalow that matches the simplicity of the surroundings.

Early morning safari and misty boat ride on the lake. If you are lucky, you may spot some gibbons or wild elephants which are unpredictable but worth hoping for.

Itinerary:

DAY 1

09.00 am: Depart hotel to Rachaprapa dam (Chiewlam lake)

10.00 am: Take long tail boat to explore the lake, enjoy the spectacular limestone scenic

11.00 am: Arrival to floating restaurant – check in to the accommodation Enjoy your free time by swimming, kayaking or sun bathing

12.30 pm: Lunch

02.30 pm: Explore the jungle and trekking to the lagoon (approx.30-45 mins.) Bamboo rafting (approx. 10 mins.) to Coral cave Explore the Stalagmite / Stalactite in the cave

03.30 pm: Finish caving then take bamboo rafting back to the lagoon and trekking back to the long tail boat stop (approx. 45 mins.- 1 hour)

04.30 pm: Take long tail boat to explore the lake, evening safari

05.30 pm: Arrival back to accommodation Free time to relax

7.00 pm: Dinner

DAY 2

06.30 am: Morning safari by boat (1 hour)

08.00 am: Breakfast

09.30 am: Check out

10.00 am: Take long tail boat back to the pier (approx. 45-60 mins.)

11.00 am: Arrival to the main pier then drive to restaurant

11.30 am: Having Lunch

12.30 pm: Drive back to Khaosok

13.30 pm: Arrival back to hotel

Cave overview: Coral cave is a relaxing program with a moderate hard trekking trail, visit the dry beautiful stalactite and stalagmite cave, and a more convenient raft house to relax during the free time. Child-friendly program.

Exclusion: National park admission fee
The National Park entrances for 1 day Lake Tour – Diamond cave program that visitors of Lake Tour need to pay directly to the park officer is 300 baht / adult and 150 baht per child under 14 year old. Additionally, the fee of pier using (40 baht / person) for the local government will be collected from the client.

Adult means from 8 years old and over.
